Yes, you can conveniently reserve a unit online, over the phone, or in person at no cost! Just tell us when you’d like to move in and one of our team members will lock in your exact unit, price, and promotion. We generally set a 30-day limit on how long a unit can be reserved. Special circumstances, including limited availability or certain promotions, may affect the typical reservation timeframe.
Yes. We care about your stuff so much that we require all tenants to have a policy in place to protect the contents of their storage unit. For your convenience, we offer insurance options that start at just $12 per month for coverage of $2,000 with a $0 deductible. If you have homeowners or renters’ insurance, your policy may cover the items in your unit. If you plan on using your own insurance, we’ll ask you to upload a copy of your declaration page for our records. We want to make your self storage experience easy and convenient. All tenants can access their unit with our secure keypad entry using a unique personal code. Individual units are also protected by a lock that is only accessible by the tenant. Access hours are 5am-10pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
To store a vehicle at a BestBox facility, we ask for proof of registration and insurance, and that all registration documentation is in the name of the individual renting the unit. Once those are confirmed, you can store your vehicle as long as you’d like within a storage unit or our gated parking lot. We ask that all vehicles stored in our outdoor storage be in running condition and operable, and that they do not leak any fluids or create a hazard to our team and other tenants.
You can store with BestBox forever! We offer convenient month-to-month leases and bill monthly starting on the day you move in. We do not require any minimum length of stay so you can store for as long as your heart desires!

Our indoor storage units are securely indoors and can only be accessed from within a larger building at our facility. The indoor units are usually climate controlled, which allows you to store your temperature and humidity-sensitive items safely. Our drive-up units can be conveniently accessed outside, allowing you to pull right up and unload your stuff without a moving cart or dolly in sight (unless you’re storing a grand piano…then you’re going to want a moving cart). Finally, our upstairs units will be on an upper floor of the building with elevator access, so no need to carry items up a flight of stairs. Upstairs units generally have a lower price point and are a great choice for those not planning on accessing their storage unit frequently.
You can always receive help from a team member on the phone or online during our business hours, 9am-6pm Monday through Saturday. In person assistance at our facilities is available Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-6pm unless otherwise noted.

Our administrative fee is a one-time charge that covers the setup of your unit and account in our systems. Through this account setup, you’ll be able to view your balance and make payments 24/7!
We recommend all tenants to sign up for our Auto-Pay feature. All you have to do is choose 'Auto-Pay' when renting your self storage unit online and you're set! BestBox will automatically bill your credit card, so you no longer have to worry about those pesky late fees. All of our promotions require enrollment in Auto-Pay so this great feature will already be included with your rental.

The standard access hours for our tenants are 7 days a week from 5am-10pm. In certain cases, we are able to grant 24-hour access as approved by your BestBox facility manager.
